«This place is beautiful. The pool and garden are great and so peaceful. Everything we needed in the kitchen to cook for ourselves when needed. While there is another rental sharing the pool, we did not notice at all. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica.»

«Antonio’s home is in an amazing spot, with a walking trail from the property to the beach, town, and national park. Antonio and his groundskeeper, Alexis, have created a beautiful space with a sculpted garden, deck (with hammocks), and sparkling pool. There is a full bathroom indoors, along with an outdoor shower designed around a tree with orchids (after the beach)! Alexis treated us to coconuts tapped for a fresh drink straight from the backyard. Our family of four adults spent many hours watching birds (toucans, etc.) and monkeys from the home. Having local coffee on the deck while the rainforest woke up around us was a treat each morning. Antonio’s home, the hospitality, and the Caribbean coast made our stay in Cahuita the favorite part of our Costa Rica trip.»

«We loved everything about this beautiful place. The gardens, the pool and outdoor dining area. The modern kitchen stocked with appliances was very helpful. Highly recommended for families.»

«This place is amazing, and highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay with a large group or family on the Caribbean coast. Both the main house and bungalow are well appointed, the pool is wonderful, and the yard is exquisitely beautiful. The location is quiet (aside from the occasional howler monkeys 🙂 and is a relatively short walk from the town and beach (which is a gorgeous national park). Antonio is an excellent communicator and the staff is super nice and hospitable. I use AirBnB quite a bit and this is by far one of the the best experience I’ve ever had…»

«This place is exactly how it is shown on the photos.. maybe better. If you are thinking of staying in Cahuita I do not think you will find another residence close to this level of quality… it’s less than a ten minute walk to the town. Do not hesitate to book this place .. it is wonderful.»

«Superbe villa, au calme proche de Cahuita, de son parc et de la plage ! Très bien équipée, beau volume, et très belle piscine. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans les lieux, allez-y c’est le bonheur !»

«This was the best vacation we have ever taken! Every detail of this experience was incredible! Antonio and Stacey were wonderful, kind, and helpful. The location was perfect, secluded yet close to everything. The pool was a dream..we spend every morning taking a swim and listening to the jungle wake up! The bungalow we stayed in was great – everything we needed was there and the whole property was breathtaking. If I could give Antonio more than 5 stars here I would!»

«Unbelievably beautiful gardens and pool surround this upscale home. Completely stocked and modern kitchen. They had drinking water there for us. King size beds very comfortable and bedrooms with A/C. The jungle is in the backyard. Nice walk to the national park. Howler monkeys watched us play tennis. Cahuita is natural Costa Rica. Also enjoyed a short drive to Puerto Viejo. Highly recommend this home for a lovely stay.»

« I’ve stayed in many homes but this and our Napa home were the best places we have stayed so far. The pool and outdoor space were so luxurious and secluded that we felt we had our own luxury home away from home. It was perfect for our 3 year’s old and gave us a place to get away and unwind. We felt safe and relaxed here. I highly recommend this place for families heading to Costa Rica. The little kitty, two chickens and ducks were also a lovely surprise. Simply charming. »

« Our stay was really nice and special. Antonio is a great host, very welcome, attentive and friendly. The villa itself has everything you may need and is luxury. We stayed as two couples and it was super convenient because the villa has two equal and private master bedrooms and one common living room in the middle. The area is very nice. Cahuita is safe, has beautiful nature and beaches. Many good restaurants are available in a 15 mins ride if you have a car and TripAdvisor. Villa has a wonderful pool and outside area where we spent one of our evenings in a cozy atmosphere with vine and Antonio. He has many interesting stories to tell about his lifestyle and experience in Costa Rica. I would recommend this place for my friends and would love to come back there in the future! »

« This place was fantastic. The gardens were really beautiful. The position of it was excellent. It was an easy walk into the town but far enough away to be really quiet. We could walk to the national park within minutes but also saw plenty of wildlife in the grounds itself.»

« Lilan Nature was everything we wanted and more. Antonio was exceptional with communication. He made sure we had travel arrangements to and from the airport. He also gave full details and helpful information about traveling to Costa Rica (our first time). The property was amazing. The staff made us feel very welcomed. I absolutely loved staying at Lilan Nature and can’t wait to come back!»

« Lilan Nature is the most idyllic place, calm, with beautiful gardens and wildlife galore. The pool and bbq areas are great. Steicy and Alexi are wonderful too, on hand to help you with whatever they can, including providing daily fresh coconuts and a tour of the garden (Thanks Alexi, you’re a star) The house is lovely, we did not experience any insects inside, the fans and overall design of the house mean’t that there was always a nice breeze, even on the hottest of days. The beds were comfortable, and we slept really well during our 2 week stay. Cahuita is a charming town, and still managing to maintain its local, quaint feel. Although the kitchen area has everything you may need to cook up a good meal, make sure that you experience the bars and sodas in town. One of our favourite out of town eateries if you travel to Manzanillo / Puerto Viejo is Playa 506 at Playa Cocles. We would also highly recommend a visit to Tree of Life, The Sloth Sanctuary and The Jaguar Rescue Centre. They are all very different animal sanctuaries/centres, but all deserve high praise for the work they do. A really good excursion for those rainy days too! Big thanks to Antonio, Steicy and Alexi – we had an amazing time. »

« Antonio did a great job in keeping in contact before and during our stay in Lilian Nature Guest House. It is hard to locate places in Costa Rica with no addresses to go by, but his directions were very clear and Stacie was there upon arrival to show us around and make us feel at home. The house has a great number of beautiful flowers all over the property as well as some chickens and a friendly kitty cat which made my mornings. The space is stocked of things you may need and when the toaster broke, we got a new one the same day! It feels very safe here, and you are a 8 minute walk to the park (where we saw sloths just hanging out in the trees) and a small beach. If your intent is to be near or in an area like Puerto Viejo, this may not be your choice. You are about 15 minutes driving away from PV pending the roads and going back and forth gets tiring. However, it is more like “coming home” saying in Cahuita. Cahuita is much smaller and quieter yet we found that we went daily to Puerto Viejo instead. We stayed on the property alone, but Stacie was available through phone to ask questions whenever we had one. Internet was great, TV had a life of it’s own (never could figure it out), shower was spa-like and the hammock in the morning on the porch was what a vacation should be. »

« We had a wonderful stay at Antonio’s paradise nature reserve. Great location near Cahuita village and national park, with its white sand beach and sleeping monkeys in the trees.. House and gardens were beautiful, especially the gorgeous pool. Antonio was attentive but also left us our own space, I can’t recommend enough! »

« Antonio was such a gracious host and always willing to help with all of our needs. The grounds were fabulous and my family, who was visiting myself in Costa Rica had a wonderful stay! Alexi the gardener brought us fresh coconut water when I was not feeling well from the fruit trees on the grounds. Such an accommodating stay, as well as, beautiful grounds. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely return! Such lovely hosts, as well as a great home. »

« Un accueil parfait une maison au top dans un cadre magique… Pour nous qui avions peur des bêtes cette maison était juste parfaite ! Le jardin, la piscine, les équipements… Tout était top… Merci merci merci !!!»

« This small rental house was perfect for the 2 of us, especially since there was no one at the “big” house at the time, so we had the place to ourselves, so to speak! Antonio is the best host of a rental house we have ever met. Courteous, friendly, helpful and charming all in one-The grounds around the house have many citrus trees, gazillions of flowers, more bird species than I knew, Howler monkeys and much more. Tennis courts if you want (we didnt) and then there is that pool—-we spent most days from 12-3 either in the pool or napping (really hot then). A small water jet area at one side, a nice place to spend time. The grill came in handy when we got some fresh snapper with Antonio’s help. The 2 beds in the house were comfortable and the kitchen had just enough room for us both at meal time. We also enjoyed the grounds cat who dutifully ate any lizard who dared our small patio. I would heartily recommend this spot to anyone visiting Cahuita.»
